I was happy to do this project pro-bono as a contribution to the local Mount Vernon community in the name of preserving history and sharing it with others. Many Knox County area businesses and organizations have come together to help see this historical walking tour of Mound View Cemetery come together. Local actors and performers will be in costume sharing the stories of famous figures buried there.

I decided I really wanted an actual image of something from the cemetery that could be recognizable to community members rather than using a piece of stock imagery. I have photographed this notable statue several times but never on such a bright and sunny day. She came out almost glowing, which I was pleased with. This simple, yet elegant, poster hopefully will draw attention to this event and bring people out to learn more about their community’s past!
